Much is written about web design but it is still as confusing as ever for many people. Web Design is not a difficult science and anybody with a little patience will be able to produce more or less reasonable looking websites after some time of practice.

Creating websites is no longer the exclusive domain of 'Professional Web Designers' Of course it does require a high level of skill to create commercial web sites which may demand and incorporate elements of advanced web technology, but in the main ´'normal', standard type websites could be done by almost anybody who has a little technical aptitude, creativity and an eye for form and balance.

The ability to design a website is no longer the important issue. The Know How of how to make a website which is recognized by major Search Engines such as Google and Yahoo or MSN is the really crucial part.

Unfortunately as many as 95% of websites today are non functional websites in terms of their ranking success. If Internet users cannot find websites when searching for information, products or services by using relevant Search Terms, than these website have no commercial use and the money spend on them has been wasted.

Websites which cannot be found in top positions especially with Google simply do not exist and are commercial failures. And the 95 % of Websites mentioned earlier fall in that category.

The decision of purchasing a website should not be based on price. This is not to say that a website has to be expensive in order to be good and effective, but in the main, one should never select a company or a web designer on price alone, because if the website does not receive a top Search Engine Ranking any money paid has been a very bad investment indeed. The question should not be how much does it cost to make a website, but can the web designer or the web design company show you how they can guarentee your web site a top Google ranking

It is very sad to see, that there are so few websites which fulfil even the most basic requirements. Not to mention, that the vast majority of clients are never given full control over their websites administration. This is something which we believe is bordering on taking unfair advantage of clients.

It should be considered normal business practice by anyone involved in web design to deliver a product which gives a client full and total access to his site.

Limiting the access for the client is short term thinking and motivated in most cases by the desire to make as much money as possible by forcing the client to use the web design company ot the web designer for every change he would like or needs to make.
